Test Out Our Water
Whether you are a beginner swimmer or on your way to the Olympics, we are a great place to make a splash. Our indoor aquatic programs provide members a comfortable environment for exercise, water aerobics, swim lessons, family time, birthday parties and more.
When it comes to swimming and water safety, no one is trusted more than the YMCA, America’s swim instructor. In fact, group swim instruction was developed by the YMCA in 1906.
The YMCA swim lesson curriculum is designed to teach this lifelong skill to participants of all skill levels in a safe environment. We offer individual and group swim lessons, refer to our calendar for group session dates.
The Y is your source for Progressive Swim lessons for children and adults.
Swim lessons at the Y are specifically tailored to the participant’s age, swimming ability, level of physical development and confidence in the water. The Y ensures a low instructor-to-student ratio (4:1) to ensure our kids get plenty of personal attention.
$40 – 2 Week Session (4 Lessons total)
Our trained coaches work to improve swimmers’ skill level, endurance and to promote a healthy lifestyle. Our program embraces the YMCA core values and promotes progression at an individual level.
The YMCA Swim Team offers up to five practice times a week for beginning swimmers and more for advanced groups. Swimmers are encouraged to attend at least two practices a week.
