The Y is a cause for strengthening community. That’s why we’re here working with you every day, making sure that you and your family have the resources and support you need to learn, grow and thrive.
We’re constantly working to add more programs for Youth and Adults. We provide leagues for basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, cheerleading, swimming, baseball, & more for ages K-6th Grade.
The Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building health, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families, and communities. Learn more about what our facilities and child care services can provide.
The Y offers many different types of fitness and aerobic options for healthy living. Between our weight room, cardio room, nautilus room, swimming pool, and group classes, you can find what’s best for you.
The Great Plains Family YMCA is an association of persons of all ages, ethnic groups, and religious affiliations. We are united in a common effort to put Christian principles and values into practice and to enrich the quality of life through programs that develop the spiritual, mental, and physical potential of the Great Plains communities.

The Annual Campaign supports the community by investing IN our community through YMCA scholarships towards Y Programs like Youth In Government, Safety Around Water, Youth Sports, Childcare/Camp, Memberships, Route 66 Thunder, and more. Your contributions make these possible.
Donations to the heritage fund are invested into an Endowment Fund. The YMCA has created this fund to allow donations to grow and build interest and ensure the YMCA is always in a sound financial position. In 2019 the YMCA will conduct its Annual Heritage Club dinner and invites you to attend.
The building the YMCA occupies was initially built for roller skating and racquetball. While renovations have been done to make the facility function as a YMCA, much more could be done. Giving to the facility fund, allows money to be set aside for building renovation and major projects.
We are proud to have happy Members that are benefiting from our facilities and programs.
Our YMCA offers all sorts of programs for different ages from child care and sports to fitness classes and aquatics!
